Lynn Brautigam Boots is a lifelong Alaskan with a passion for capturing the Alaskan landscape with her impressionistic style. Lynn uses oils as her medium of choice to create works of art both in her studio and as a plein air painter. She is a charter member of the Plein Air Painters of Alaska, a member of the Alaska Artist’s Guild as well as an associate member of the Oil Painters of America. She was proud to be the official Alaskan artist of the year for KTUU in 2004 and 2005. Lynn has perfected her own style by attending workshops from well-known artists such as Ralph Oberg, Marvin Mangus, Norman Lowell and Lois Griffel-director of the Cape Cod School of Art.
